Siobhan Collins is a very experienced senior junior, who specialises in prosecuting and defending the most serious of criminal offences.
Her practice primarily involves being instructed as a leading junior in cases concerning serious violence, and conspiracies involving organised crime. In particular, Siobhan has prosecuted a large number of Operation Venetic (EncroChat) trials.
She is also regularly led in homicide cases.
Siobhan is a Grade 4 prosecutor and an active member of the RASSO panel.
Siobhan is known for her robust cross-examinations and as a creative and determined barrister who never underperforms.
She is a talented and able jury advocate with extensive experience in preparing and litigating difficult and multi-handed cases and excels in cases requiring knowledge of technical legal issues.
Siobhan has appeared for both the Crown and defence in the Court of Appeal and accordingly has prepared and responded to complex legal submissions before contested hearings.
She has dealt with cases involving issues of multiple jurisdictions and overlaps with the Family and High Courts.
