No5 is delighted to announce that Tom Schofield will be appointed as King’s Counsel, on the recommendation of the Lord Chancellor.
Tom was called to the bar in 2001 and is a specialist criminal barrister with a nationwide practice. He is considered as one of the defence expert counsel on the Operation Venetic encrochat cases where his ability to present complex legal arguments came to the fore. Tom is meticulous in his preparation of cases which results in solicitors trying to instruct him early to secure his services on complex multi handed trials.
The appointment takes the number of silks at Chambers to 41.
