In addition to general damages, claims were pursued for loss of profit in relation to a company of which he was a director and increased private health care premiums.
Failure to properly carry out medial Patella-Femoral Ligament surgery, causing ligamentous damage and resulting in permanent degeneration in the knee;
Failure to properly advise and consent patient who suffered from Type I diabetes before carrying out a gastric band procedure, contrary to NICE guidelines. Client subsequently suffered dumping syndrome and recommended for further surgery.
