We are delighted to announce that No5's Sultana Tafadar KC has been shortlisted for 'Barrister of the Year' at this year's Inspirational Women in Law Awards, taking place on the 1st November.

The Inspirational Women in Law Awards seek to identify the trailblazers of the profession following over 100 years since the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act 2019, which paved the way for women to practice law. The awards form part of an ongoing initiative called the 'First 100 Years', a project that charters the journey of women in law since 1019. The project is powered by Spark 21, a charity founded to celebrate, inform and inspire future generations of women in the profession.

Tony McDaid, CEO and Director of Clerking at No5 Barristers Chambers, commented: "I am thrilled to see that the trailblazer that Sultana Tafadar KC undoubtedly is, has been shortlisted for Barrister of the Year. All at No5 congratulate her and wish her all the best for the final!"
