Tue, 23 Apr 2013

Lance Gregory, 24, Solihull was fatally stabbed after going to a meeting in a car park to sort out a dispute.

Carlton Pollock, 24, Chelmsley Wood, denied murder.

On November 10, both went to a party with Jermaine Williams, where a disagreement between Mr Williams and Mr Gregory took place, and they arranged to meet later for a “straightener” at Craig Croft car park.

Mr Williams later decided against going to the car park, but Pollock went instead. A witness heard raised voices and saw Pollock and Mr Gregory walking towards each other, then about five minutes later Pollock jogged away.

Pollock has been found not guilty of murder but has been convicted for the manslaughter of Mr Gregory
