James Dixon Speaking at House of Commons Debate: Is there a future for Poles in the UK?

Thu, 12 Mar 2015

James Dixon, barrister at No5 Chambers, is speaking at the pre-election debate on Poles in the UK.

The debate, which is being held on Monday 23rd March, is organised by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Poland, British Polish Law Association, Polish Professionals in London and hosted by Daniel Kawczynski MP.

In the run-up to the General Election there appears to be a growing consensus on restricting the rights of EU citizens in a number of aspects. This potentially impacts the Polish Community to a great extent. This raises numerous questions, including: Is this legal? Is it politically feasible? Will it inevitably lead to the UK leaving the EU?

Along with James Dixon, Daniel Kawczynski MP, Andrew Slaughter MP, Roger Casale, Prof. Alan Sked and a LibDem MP will be speaking.
