Bernard Thorogood is instructed by the HSE in the high profile prosecution of Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust following the death of Gillian Astbury.

The Trust had pleaded guilty at first opportunity, accepting numerous health and safety breaches, including an inadequate handover system for nursing staff and poor record keeping.
