The Business and Property Group at No5 Barristers' Chambers are delighted to announce that Annie Townley (2018 call) has accepted tenancy after successfully completing her pupillage.

This is a fantastic achievement in its own right but in particular when faced with a global pandemic mid-way through pupillage. Annie has shown true resilience during this testing time and is a fantastic addition to our team of talented barristers.

Annie has a wide experience of commercial matters, including contractual disputes, sale of goods, debt claims, insolvency, company and partnership, real estate, inheritance disputes, wills trusts and estates & professional negligence.

Annie appears in the County Court and High Court on interlocutory applications, CMC, CCMC, winders list, bankruptcy list, possession hearings and small claim trials.

Mohammed Zaman QC, Head of the Business and Property Group, said: "It is my pleasure to welcome Annie as a member of the Business and Property Group at No5. She was an exceptional pupil and I fully expect that she will apply herself to develop a successful practice."
