Andrew Wallace prosecutes rogue builder

A “ROGUE” builder tried to fleece a Birmingham home owner out of £7,000 by falsely claiming that he needed his whole roof replacing.
 
In the end Leslie Dove handed over just over £1,000 for work that was that was only worth £130, a jury at Birmingham Crown Court was told.
 
Flynn was arrested after being secretly videoed by police as he and an accomplice went on a shopping spree with the victim's £1,000.
 
He was jailed for eight years after being found guilty of two charges of conspiracy to obtain property by deception.
