Tim has experience of mediation in local government, property, restrictive covenants, environmental, agricultural and commercial disputes.
He is an accredited civil and commercial mediator (London School of Mediation) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He acts both as a mediator and as a mediation advocate.
His writing on ADR includes publication in Arbitration (the journal of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators) and in Solicitors Journal.
He established on a pro-bono basis and acts as a mediator for ‘Mediation Rugeley and Brereton’, a community mediation scheme in central Staffordshire. This deals with disputes relating to such matters as noise, boundaries, car-parking, animals, gardens and rubbish.
He was the UK organiser and joint chair of the successful joint Budapest Bar Association/Midland Circuit seminar in Budapest in April 2011 on International Arbitration, arranging speakers from Bangla Desh, Cameroon, Hungary, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
