Talbir represented an officer who was alleged to have assaulted a solicitor during the course of a police interview- the officer retained his position as a serving police officer after a fully contested hearing.

R v Quinn (Wolverhampton Crown Court)
2013
Quinn was part a group of alleged criminal associate’s of a detective constable who pleaded guilty to misconduct in a public office. The detective constable had accessed police computer systems for information and passed on information to his co-accused. Talbir represented Quinn who was a co-accused. He was the subject of months of police surveillance having been arrested after that surveillance showed a drugs deal taking place and with his client in possession of several thousands of pounds in cash. He was subsequently charged with drugs offences and money laundering offences. A trial lasting 12 weeks took place in which Talbir’s client was one of two persons acquitted of all charges, whilst every other co-accused was convicted and faced heavy prison sentences.
