Steven graduated with First Class Honours in LL.B English and German Law from the University of Kent and the Philipps-Universitat, Marburg, Germany before completing an LL.M at the University of London.
Steven’s practice covers all aspects of professional negligence litigation. He advises, drafts pleadings and appears in various types of professional negligence litigation (including against surveyors, architects, builders, financial service professionals, accountants, barristers and solicitors) from procedural and interim applications such as strike out/summary judgment and security for costs applications and disclosure applications to trials. Steven is also instructed to represent clients at mediation and to advise on litigation strategy.
Recent cases include acting for a commercial property owner against two firms of surveyors in relation to the provision of negligent reports as to the state of the property prior to acquisition, acting for a high net worth investor in relation to a claim against his financial adviser for providing negligent investment advice and acting for a firm of solicitors in relation to a claim against a barrister for providing negligent advice.
