Failure to properly insert and align knee implant causing ligament damage, stress fracture and resulting in revision total knee replacement. In addition to general damages, claims were pursued for loss of profit in relation to a company of which he was a director and increased private health care premiums.
Failure to properly carry out medial Patella-Femoral Ligament surgery, causing ligamentous damage and resulting in permanent degeneration in the knee;
Failure to properly advise and consent patient who suffered from Type I diabetes before carrying out a gastric band procedure, contrary to NICE guidelines. Client subsequently suffered dumping syndrome and recommended for further surgery.
