She is regularly instructed in cases of murder, gang violence, large-scale drug trafficking and serious sexual offences.

Operation E
The defence of a man accused of conspiring to import a significant quantity of drugs into the country under the cover of a professional haulage company.
R v CM
The defence of a young man accused of murdering a vulnerable individual for gain.
R v NC
Conducted the trial of a post-operative transsexual woman for offences of rape against her biological children before her transition had taken place.
R v DL
The defence of a man accused of raping multiple children. This included a large number of intermediaries, interpreters and lengthy legal argument about the previous actions of the child complainants amounting to ‘sexual behaviour’ for the purpose of cross-examination. He was acquitted of all counts.
Reported Cases
Operation A
A two-handed murder, underpinned by complicated legal arguments as to joint enterprise, bad character and the relevance of background drug dealing evidence. One defendant pleaded, the other was convicted after trial.
Operation F
The successful prosecution of ten defendants who committed targeted armed robberies in the Birmingham area and went on to attack officers responding to one such offence. All were convicted.
Operation L
The ongoing prosecution of a four-handed murder of a child, set against the background of gang rivalry and drug supply.
Operation S
A case concerning the murder of a vulnerable transgender woman by a defendant with significant mental health issues.
R v CA
Represented the Attorney General in a reference concerning an unduly lenient sentence for a man convicted of multiple child sex offences. The sentence was increased and the offender found to be dangerous.
R v TM
One of the first s.28 hearings on circuit where the child witness was allowed to give pre-recorded cross-examination.
