Viewing: Fraudulent Insurance Claims for Roger S Giles

Roger has significant experience acting for Insurance companies. In the field of motor fraud, in addition to drafting statements of case and representation in Court, he advises on all aspects of Defence litigation from initial, advantageous use of the CPR provisions through to consideration of Contempt Proceedings.
He is prepared to accept instructions on all tracks, from small claims, with or without credit hire, to multi-track level proceedings. He takes the view that, for Insurers, all aspects and levels of fraud are important and deserve to be properly defended.
Recognised for his attention to detail, Roger comments. For example; in May 2021 the Insurance Fraud Bureau reported that, of 2.9 million insurance claims made between October 2019 and December 2020 up to 170,000 claims were suspected to be linked to crash for cash gangs. The Bureau identified fraud hotspots in the B8, B25 and B34 postcodes in Birmingham. With chambers in the heart of Birmingham, it is an invaluable asset to have familiarised oneself with the local road networks when dissecting fraud from misfortune.
Whether a case of Section 57 Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015 exaggeration, or a full-scale multi-claim fraud, each receives the same degree of attention.
