Richard has considerable experience of inquests. Whilst his instructions are often the precursor to a clinical negligence claim, Richard also undertakes cases on behalf of NHS Trusts, prisons, and other companies.
He has recently been instructed in linked cases involving suicides of inpatients at the same psychiatric hospital, where the NHS Trust was criticised by the Coroner for the level of care afforded.
Richard also has particular expertise in inquests involving infant deaths.
