Rebecca has a busy personal injury practice, instructed by Claimants and Defendants in the High Court and County Court. She has a broad experience of personal injury claims of all types, including: road traffic accidents, Highways Act claims, credit hire, employer’s liability, public liability, occupier’s liability, defective premises, and inquests including Article 2
In particular, Rebecca has focused on cases which are alleged to be fraudulent or exaggerated in nature, including dealing with allegations of fundamental dishonesty at an appellate level. She regularly deals with low velocity impact claims, exaggeration or fabrication of injuries and fabricated accidents.
Rebecca regularly acts alone in cases with a value up to GBP 500,000, and works with leading counsel.
In addition to court work, Rebecca leads client conferences. She also has experience drafting advice, pleadings and evidence in support of applications of all kinds. Rebecca is experienced in drafting schedules and counter-schedules of loss, as well as Part 35 questions for experts.
