Paul read Biology at Kings College, University of London, before being called to the Bar by Inner Temple in 2001.
Paul is a personal injury specialist, who has been ranked as a leading junior in Chambers and Partners consecutively for the last 8 years. Paul’s current case load covers the full spectrum of the most serious claims, including brain and spinal injuries, fatal accidents and amputations, across the range of road traffic, employers’ and public liability accidents. Paul is instructed by a number of leading insurers, large Unions and local authorities and he has a particular interest in cycling and motorcycling claims, claims involving animals and those with fraudulent elements.
Paul regularly undertakes cases in excess of 1,000,000 without a leader and has acted as the junior in cases with values of up to 12,000,000.

Paul has considerable experience of costs and is frequently instructed in high value claims at a very early stage to advise in respect of budgets and to appear at Cost and Case Management Hearings in both the High Court and County Court.
Paul is extremely accessible, easy to work with, has a prompt turnaround of work and great attention to detail. Paul is very effective in a team, regularly working with solicitors and Leading Counsel in catastrophic claims.
Paul is happy to utilise paperless working and technology for remote conferences and is an enthusiastic advocate of ADR, being a qualified mediator.
Outside of work and apart from spending time with his young family, Paul is a keen sportsman and although he has put away some of his sticks and rackets, he is a regular cyclist, including LEJOG, runner and swimmer. He is a general enthusiast of anything outdoors, including camping and dog walking and is a part-time mechanic of a Series Land Rover.
