Viewing: Family for Param Bains

Param has a special interest in all public law and private law proceedings relating to children. She qualified as a Solicitor in 1993 and spent five years as a Senior Assistant Solicitor at Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council advising and representing the Social Services Department.
She then joined Baches Solicitors in West Bromwich for two years this time representing parents and children and was able to skilfully utilise the knowledge that she had acquired from her years at the Local Authority.
In 2001 she transferred to The Bar as she recognised this to be her true calling and was keen to develop her advocacy skills further. Param continues to be regularly instructed in complex public and private law children cases. In 2018 she represented a parent in a complex multi party public law fact finding hearing in the High Court which lasted over 4 months.
Param would describe herself as tenacious thorough and passionate about her cases whilst maintaining the need for common sense and sensitivity at all times.
