Nicola has an extensive background in all aspects of public law, private children law, Forced Marriage, Brussels II, Wardship and Inherent Jurisdiction. She has dealt with cases of an international element including foreign adoption;
Nicola represents parents, children ,grandparents and interveners in public law involving serious injuries to children, fractures, bruising, sexual abuse, complex medical issues, mental health and welfare issues including chronic neglect, splitting of siblings, residential units, deprivation of liberty orders and contact issues; she has also represented parties seeking Special Guardianship orders;
Nicola represents vulnerable clients through the Official Solicitor and children requiring separate legal representation. She also acts for Children Guardians in public law and 16.4 cases;
