Michael accepts instructions in cases of civil fraud, predominantly but not exclusively arising out of personal injury claims, and has experience of claim investigation concerns, drafting pleadings, conferencing/examining clients, lay and expert witnesses, interim hearings, tactics and trials. The majority of Michael’s instructions in cases of civil fraud are provided by large defendant insurers and solicitors.
Michael draws particular assistance in trials of these cases from his experience of criminal law during his early practice, during which time he prosecuted and defended at trial numerous cases of dishonesty and deception.
