Viewing: Inquests Public Inquiries and Coronial Law for Jodie Kembery

Jodie commenced her pupillage at No5 Barristers’ Chambers in 2014, specialising in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury, before taking tenancy the following year. She has since built a busy and diverse practice and regularly appears in the Coroner’s Court representing families and other interested parties. She is thorough and client-focussed and can aptly balance sensitivity with the need to be robust when appropriate. Those instructing Jodie know that they will receive a comprehensive and prompt service.
Jodie has appeared in inquests into suicide, road traffic collisions, accidents at work and healthcare, including a death arising from a failure to diagnose illness; failing to implement CPR to a cardiology patient and the death of a prisoner released on licence. She also has experience in Article 2 and jury inquests.
She also attends Pre-Inquest Reviews and is happy to accept instructions to advise on the prospects of subsequent litigation, as appropriate.
