Imogen’s practice covers the full range of commercial law, generally with a focus upon contractual disputes. Her analytical mind and attention to detail mean that she is well-equipped to deal with technical disputes and complex legal argument. She understands the financial pressures and realities of commercial litigation and gives pragmatic litigation advice.
Imogen’s recent instructions in this area include advice relating to pre-contractual misrepresentations inducing the purchase of a business as an ongoing concern, advice to partners as to the extent of property owned by the partnership and acting at trial on a dispute concerning liabilities between partners post-dissolution. Imogen has also advised on the breach of hire-purchase agreements between businesses and the enforceability of variations to commercial contracts.
Contested trials concerning unpaid invoices are a regular feature of Imogen’s practice in this area.
