Harpreet took silk in his fifteenth year of practice. Before his appointment, he was appointed to the “A” list of the List of Specialist Regulatory Advocates in Health and Safety and Environmental Law. He continues to be instructed by the Health and Safety Executive in cases arising from fatal incidents.

His regulatory practice covers the niche area of police discipline work [please see Misconduct and Compliance CV], in which area Harpreet is one of a select group of barristers in the UK who is instructed on behalf of the Police Federation to represent its members. In addition, Harpreet accepts instructions to represent members of other professions who face disciplinary proceedings.

Harpreet represents interested parties at inquests and he is instructed to represent local authorities, companies and individuals before the criminal courts.
