Francesca has acted as Counsel for families of the deceased, Insurers and other interested parties in the Coroners Court. She also accepts instructions to advise as to the prospects of subsequent civil litigation as appropriate following the Inquest.
Francesca has been involved in Inquests involving fatal road traffic and workplace accidents.
She is also a member of the clinical negligence group, affording her essential insight into issues surrounding deaths involving substandard medical care and treatment. Francesca has a particular interest in cases concerning delay in medical diagnosis.
Francesca recognizes the anguish felt by the family of the deceased when facing an Inquest into their loved ones death and assists families through the process with sensitivity.
