Viewing: Fraudulent Insurance Claims for Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst

Neil regularly receives instructions from defendant insurers in relation to personal injury claims. These include matters involving low velocity impact, contrived accidents, phantom passengers, and exaggerated claims. He has experience in pursuing cases in which fundamental dishonesty is a live issue.

By virtue of Neil’s experiences as a Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon, he has an intricate knowledge of biomechanics and the pathophysiology of traumatic injuries. This makes him uniquely placed to dissect the medical evidence and expose inconsistencies in exaggerated or fraudulent claims.

In addition to representing clients at trial and interlocutory hearings, Neil is always happy to assist those instructing with drafting, tactical advice, and testing evidence in conference.

Recommendations

“Neil’s medical knowledge adds value as a barrister, ability to give clear advice and ability to speak with the medical experts and decipher medical terms. He can gain the lay client’s trust and confidence quickly. He has an excellent manner and can communicate complex medical issues in clear non-medical language.”
