Louisa is dual qualified in dentistry and law.
Louisa has experience in drafting opinions on quantum as well as appearing in court. She regularly appears in fast track hearings, small claim hearings, directions hearings, infant approval hearings and MOJ stage 3 hearings.
Louisa has experience in occupiers’ liability claims, employers’ liability claims, holiday sickness claims and road traffic accident claims (with extensive experience in credit hire claims). She also has experience in collisions involving motorcycles and subsequent personal injury claims.
Given her professional background, Louisa accepts instructions from both Claimants and Defendants in all aspects of Personal Injury work, bringing her experience to bear. She can readily understand the terminology used in medical and dental records and handles cases with sensitivity and meticulousness. A tenacious advocate, she is robust with submissions where appropriate.
In her work as a dental surgeon, Louisa was praised for her attention to detail and sensitivity with anxious patients. She is therefore well placed to work with clients who are understandably feeling anxious when facing the prospect of litigation.
She is also qualified as an international civil-commercial mediator and can conduct mediations, both in person and online, as well as represent clients in mediations.
