David will be appointed Queen’s Counsel in March 2021 following his successful application for silk in the 2020 competition.
David has long and extensive experience of appearing at Coroners inquests, usually on behalf of families of the Deceased and in particular in relation to potential personal injury and clinical negligence claims.
David has been consistently recommended as a leading barrister for clinical negligence cases. He is recommended as a band one clinical negligence barrister in the most recent edition of Chambers and Partners 2021 and as a leading personal injury and clinical negligence barrister in the most recent Legal 500 guide 2021.

Inquest touching of the death of a young man who bled to death when a dialysis line became detached. The Coroner reached an Article 2 conclusion of systemic failings and made a finding of individual neglect.

Inquest touching upon the death of a young boy who died when unsecured football goalposts fell on him.
