Adrian is a very experienced advocate and regulatory lawyer. As an advocate he has vast experience in presenting and arguing disputed factual cases. He took silk on his first application, and has the highest level of practice as a barrister in the criminal courts.
As a Regulatory lawyer he has the legal acumen of a civil lawyer where he spent much of his practice at the junior bar. He adds to this the ability to understand the complex and then convey it simply. He believes that it is important to be not only an accomplished advocate when it comes to fearlessly presenting a case, but to be able to back that up with thorough intellectual rigour.
Adrian has particular expertise in representing professionals before their regulatory bodies. He has a very large experience of regulatory work of this nature. He has represented all manner of professionals from company directors, to teachers, and is first choice counsel for the Police Federation. He had added to that representing professional international sportsmen, and has recently as leading counsel, represented an Olympic horseman in proceedings before the British Equine Federation.
In high demand for his expertise in large-scale fraud and drug trafficking, Keeling also prosecutes and defends in major homicide cases. Recent cases have included multiparty conspiracies and significant international aspects.
