In this paper, Richard Kimblin seeks to set out something of a broad context which gives rise to a range of domestic policy approaches which materially and significantly affect land use in planning decisions. He seeks to identify the range of impacts which energy related policies have upon planning decisions and then identify the present position and trends in respect of energy generation and design.
