Tony Bell and Alex Stein Client Acquitted of Murder

Karen Otmani, 42, from Forest Hill, is facing a life sentence for the murder of her boyfriend. 
 
Otnami, also known as Tammy Cameron and Karen Boyce, was found guilty at the Old Bailey of killing Shaun Corey, 42, by doping his beer and smothering him, and then keeping his body in a wheelie bin for 11 days.
 
The court heard that Otmani and Corey were arguing in her bedroom, and were joined by a man Otmani called Uncle, Bernard Beddoe. 
 
Beddoe, 60, of Revelon Road, Brockley was acquitted of murder and manslaughter but was found guilty of assisting an offender and was remanded until December 7th for reports.
 
Otmani was remanded in custody for sentencing on Monday.
