Tim Sheppard interview on BBC Radio Gloucestershire

Fri, 27 Sep 2013

No5 Barrister Tim Sheppard was interviewed yesterday, 26th September 2013, by Mark Cummings on his BBC Radio Gloucestershire Breakfast Show.

The interview concerned recent high profile Judicial Review claims in the Gloucestershire area, including a challenge to permission for an ASDA Supermarket. Mark Cummings was interested to find out if Tim Sheppard agreed that Judicial Review was being used inappropriately to block development.

Tim Sheppard states that the Government has brought in reforms and is consulting on further reforms to speed up the JR process, but that such further reforms should not go so far as to deprive people who have valid Judicial Review claims from being able to bring them.

The programme is available to listen to on the BBC website until 3rd October 2013, by clicking here.
