Tim Jones - Two successful appeals by Romany Gypsies

Tue, 02 Apr 2013

Tim Jones has won two appeals for Romany Gypsy appellants seeking planning permission to live on land that they owned in open countryside

In APP/L3815/A/12/2177735 Inspector Elizabeth Fieldhouse granted a 5-year planning permission for a private Gypsy and Traveller site. This was in respect of a site where an inspector had previously refused planning permission for the same appellant.

In APP/H2265/A/12/2182789 Inspector Paul Dignan granted permanent planning permission for a private Gypsy site, rejecting arguments that the Appellants should apply for accommodation at a public site.
