Tim Jones Acted as Arbitrator in Belgrade Pre-Moot Competition

Tim Jones (left) acted as an arbitrator in the VI Belgrade Open Pre-Moot on 16th and 17th March 2013.  He arbitrated a total of six sessions, in five of which as a presiding arbitrator. 

 
The teams Tim Jones arbitrated were from Croatia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey. There were two teams each from Germany and Italy and three from Switzerland.
 
University of Belgrade Faculty of Law has held the Pre-moot competition since 2008 in preparation for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, which is one of the most prestigious moot competitions in the world.
 
The Pre-Moot follows the Belgrade Arbitration Conference, which was held on 15th March.
 
Tim is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, having reached Fellowship level in both UK and International arbitration.
