Suspension Lifted for Doctor represented by Kawsar Zaman

Tue, 08 Dec 2020

Kawsar Zaman has successfully represented a Doctor before the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service during an Interim Orders Tribunal review hearing (FTP) in which an interim suspension (imposed 6 months earlier) has been replaced with interim conditions.

The original suspension had been imposed on grounds of wider public interest as alleged by the General Medical Council.

The Doctor was previously represented by a leading QC when the suspension was first imposed.

The Registrant thanked Mr Zaman: “…thank you…your representation has changed my life, literally”.

Kawsar Zaman accepts instructions for full and interim orders hearings before all professional regulators.
