Fri, 17 Jan 2014

Barry Shillam, 52, was beaten by three people, which lead to his death on July 17 2013.

John Scott, 46, Gurminder Singh Sindhu, 40 and Andrea Jones, 38, from Smethwick all deny murder at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

A 17 year old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, gave evidence describing the assault in a flat on Brook Street, Smethwick. She said Scott was the first to attack Mr Shillam, then Sidhu assaulted him whilst he was on the floor and Jones punched him causing his nose to break.

The case continues.
