Fri, 07 Jun 2013

Victoria Hutton, led by S. Chelvan, and instructed by Louisa Agu of Lawrence and Co, have returned from North Shields following a 2 day asylum hearing.  The First-Tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) announced yesterday afternoon, that they were allowing the 5 asylum appeals of the Cameroonian boxing team, who had left the Olympic Village in August 2012.  The Tribunal lifted the anonymity order with respect to the five appellants, due to the public interest.

Further details will follow after the promulgation of the determination.
