GP Doctor Davinderjit Bains, 45, Swindon, has pleaded guilty to 39 sexual offences against females aged 14-51.

Bains, who was based at Tinkers Lane Surgery in Royal Wooton Bassett, filmed examinations of patients described by police as "inappropriate or unnecessary" using a hidden camera in a wristwatch over a three year period. 361 high quality clips were found on his home computer.

He has also pleaded not guilty to three charges of sexual assault and a single count of administering a noxious drug with intent to commit a sexual offence.

Bains has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced at a later date. Judge Douglas Field has ordered for pre-sentence psychiatric reports to be composed.
