Ranjiv Khubber joins the Immigration Group at No5 Barristers' Chambers

No5 Barristers’ Chambers is delighted to welcome Ranjiv Khubber to the Immigration Group.

Ranjiv is recognised as a senior junior in immigration based Judicial Review and Appellate work in the Senior Courts. The legal directories refer to him as impressive, hardworking and particularly knowledgeable (Chambers and Partners 2021, UK Bar London).

He has particular experience of Human Rights law (including immigration detention and deportation), EU law and Social Welfare Law where it overlaps with immigration status.

Ranjiv appears regularly at all levels including, in particular, the Administrative Court, the Upper Tribunal (IAC), and the Court of Appeal. He has also appeared in the Supreme Court and represented Applicants in successful claims in the European Court of Human Rights.

He is committed to legal aid work and was twice a finalist in the LALY awards for Legal Aid Barrister of the year (2013 and 2015).
