Open Verdict has been recorded by Coroner Caroline Sumeray

Angela Claire June Slater, 48, of Poole, died of multiple injuries when her car plunged 250ft down cliffs at Compton, Isle of Wight. 

Emergency services were called to the scene on 16th October 2012 after witnesses reported seeing what appeared to be a small car plunge over a cliff. 

Recording an Open Verdict, Isle of Wight Coroner Caroline Sumeray said Miss Slater had left messages for friends and family, but the wording was not clear enough to conclude she intended to take her own life.
