No5 Chambers Taking Part in Birmingham & London Legal Walks

Fri, 03 May 2013

No5 Chambers have entered teams in the Birmingham and London Legal Walks, both taking place on Monday 20th May 2013.

Barristers and staff are taking part in the 10k walks to raise money for the Midland Legal Support Trust and the London Legal Support Trust. Both trusts raise much needed funds for free legal advice providers in the local communities. Further information can be found here: www.mlst.org.uk and www.londonlegalsupporttrust.org.uk

The Birmingham legal walk is now in its 6th year. Senior Presiding Judge of the Midland Circuit, the Honourable Mr. Justice Flaux, will lead the walk.

The London legal walk has been running since 2005, and this year sees the highest ever number of teams entered. The walk starts at the Royal Courts of Justice and takes walkers past some of London’s best-known legal landmarks.
