Tue, 18 Mar 2014

The Birmingham Law Society Debating Competition Final 2014 will be held on Wednesday 26th March, when students from University of Birmingham will be competing against students from The University of Law.

No5 Chambers are pleased to be sponsoring this event, and Head of Chambers Paul Bleasdale QC will be taking part in the debate as a Judge.

The motion is: “Law-abiding members of the public have nothing to fear. Mass surveillance by the security services in this country is necessary in a modern democracy.”

Further information, including how to book a place, can be found on Birmingham Law Society website.
