No5 Chambers – Going the Extra Mile for Charity

Barristers and clerks at No5 Chambers are gearing up to run the Birmingham Half Marathon 2012 on Sunday 21st October, helping to raise money for charity. The race starts in the city centre, taking runners around the city, past many famous sights including Edgbaston Cricket Ground and Cadbury World before directing everyone back to the finish on Broad Street. With over 18,000 athletes taking part this year’s event is set to be one of the biggest ever. The start will be staggered over the course of an hour with elite runners setting off at 10.10am. 
 
Barristers taking part include Helen Arthur running for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Peter Arnold, and clerks Ben Todd, Anthony Priest, and James Patterson running for Marie Curie Cancer Care and Martineu Gardens in Edgbaston.
