Joanne Harris's article in The Lawyer profiles S Chelvan as one of their featured Pride stories running over two weeks.

It reports on how the law was a barrier for S Chelvan during his undergraduate years in being able to be open as a gay man in the UK.

This article briefly touches on S Chelvan's specialism which include representing LGBT+ asylum seekers and refugees and reports how Chelvan is fully supported in his work at No5 Chambers.
