No5 celebrates its strength in depth as 12 barristers are appointed to top government panel.

The strength of specialist barristers in the Midlands has been shown by the strong showing of No5 Chambers in having 12 barristers appointed to the Treasury Solicitors Department’s (TSol’s) Attorney General’s regional panel. The panel provides counsel to advise and act for government ministers as well as over 180 central government departments.

New members to the panel include No5 Chamber’s Head of Public law, David Lock, along with Adam Farrer, Nageena Khalique, Suella Fernandes, Paul Joseph and Claire van Overdijk.

They join Peter Goatley, Richard Adkinson, Jonathan Jones, Mat Brunning, Emma Brown and Olivia Chaffin-Laird who have all been re-appointed to the panel for a further five years.

Head of Chambers, Mr Paul Bleasdale QC, commented: “This is fantastic news for both chambers and the barristers who have been appointed to the panel.

“The appointments are further recognition to the real strength and depth we have in Chambers, and the selection of our members, who specialise across a range of disciplines, demonstrates our ability to provide advice and advocacy across a multitude of areas the TSol covers.”
