Michael Burrows QC secures conviction in brutal murder

Patryk Srutkowski, 22, and Pawel Bugajski, 22 have been found guilty and jailed for life for killing Hama Faraj Noori, 56, at his home in Uppingham Gardens, The Meadows.

Mr Noori was found dead at his home by two of his friends on January 25th 2014. He was killed by Srutkowski and Bugajski after drinking with them that evening.

Sentencing, Judge Gregory Dickinson QC told the pair that the murder was “ brutal and remorseless”. They will have to serve a minimum of 25 years before being considered for parole.
