SIX people – including a man who was once one of West Midlands Police’s ‘most wanted’ criminals – have been jailed for a total of 28 years for their roles in a multi-million pound drug dealing network.

Derek Jones, 38, Daniel Sterling, 29, Andrew Morgan, 46, Trevor Anderson, 30 and Lee Bott, 22, all of Wolverhampton, and 43-year-old Kate McTurk, from Ayr, Scotland, were locked up for sentences ranging from eight to two years.

They were involved in a huge drugs operation which saw up to three kilograms a week of heroin and crack cocaine sent from Wolverhampton to Scotland hidden in car tyres, coffee tins and hire vehicles.
