Michael Burrows QC prosecutes 16 year old murder

Fri, 04 Jun 2010

TWO men have been arrested and charged with the murder of a dad-of-two who was found shot dead in Birmingham more than 16 years ago.

Glenn Ford, 35, was found slumped in a pool of blood in a former steel storage yard in Saltley, a day after he went missing in November 1993.

Police who originally investigated the case believed the Coventry man had been lured to a deserted factory unit and, probably begging for his life, was shot four times at close range in the head and chest in what had the hallmarks of an organised gangland killing.
