Birmingham man jailed for raping and robbing woman at knifepoint
A BIRMINGHAM man who bludgeoned a woman over the head before raping her and robbing her at knifepoint has been jailed indefinitely.

Nathaniel Belgrave fled the scene after his victim, fearing for her life, fought back and stabbed him in the leg.

A jury at Warwick Crown Court rejected his defence that the sex was consensual and that he had then acted in self-defence after he was attacked.
