No5 Barristers' Chambers are delighted to announce that Maria Mulla has been accredited as a mediator by the International Mediation Institute (IMI). Maria has more than 16 years of experience in commercial dispute resolution in the Business and Property Courts covering all aspects of commercial litigation, property litigation, enforcement, defamation, media, contentious probate and entertainment (including royalty disputes), and insolvency matters. Often those matters include an international element and cross border issues.

Her accreditation as a mediator follows on from her many years of experience as a mediation advocate. Maria prides herself on her ability to get to the heart of the dispute quickly and her open, approachable style complement her legal skills. Equally, she also ensures that the parties stay focussed on the ultimate aim in achieving settlement and/or narrowing the issues in the dispute where possible.

Head of the Business and Property Group, Mohammed Zaman QC commented, “Maria’s accreditation as a mediator is great news for No5 Barrister’s Chambers. She is an accomplished commercial dispute resolution barrister and parties will now have the benefit of her skills as an accredited mediator. She is a welcome addition to the excellent ADR team at No5.”
